Living room with deep teal walls, gold trimmed box moulding, white ceiling and trim, pot lights and plank flooring

Interior Painting

Paint is the finish everyone sees. We fill, sand and prime before the colour goes on, because the finish is only as good as the preparation underneath it. Whole houses, single rooms, ceilings, trim, feature walls and kitchen cabinets.

Five steps, the same on every job, so you always know what happens next and who is doing it.

Request a free estimate
  1. Site visit and written estimate

Kumail comes to your home, looks at the space with you and talks through what you want. You get a written estimate at no charge, with the scope spelled out.

  2. Plan, finishes and timeline

Materials, finishes and the schedule are settled with you before anything is ordered or opened up.

  3. Permits and registration

If your job needs a building permit, or a basement unit needs to be registered with the City, we say so at the estimate and build it into the plan.

  4. The build

Kumail runs the site day to day. Electrical, plumbing and heating work is done by licensed trades he works with regularly.

  5. Final walkthrough

We walk the finished space with you, room by room, and anything that is not right is fixed before we call the job done.

FAQ

Painting: common questions

Can you paint our kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?

Yes. Solid wood and MDF cabinet doors take paint well once they are cleaned, sanded and primed. Kumail will tell you at the site visit whether yours are good candidates, and what a repaint costs next to new doors or new cabinets.

Do you paint a single room?

Yes. From one bedroom to the whole house, and often as the last step of a larger renovation.
